The Book of Revelation - Armageddon

The last book of the Bible, the Book of Revelation gives Christians a very detailed overview about the things that will happen in the end times. Jesus showed all those things to John, that will happen in the last days, shortly before Jesus returns. God wanted to make sure that we know what is going to happen and not just blindly live our lives but have clues and indications to orient ourselves. The Book of Revelation is prophetic and written metaphorically, but if you do transfer the writings of the Book of Revelation onto our current times, it is very easy to "decode" all the messages. We want to give a brief overview of the coming events which people will have to endure.

The Prophet Daniel also recieved visions from God about the end times.

The Bible clearly tells us, that the spirit of the Antichrist has been in this world since the beginning. Satan is the leader of this world, since the Fall of Adam. The spirit of the Antichrist is eager to push forward the agenda of an One World Order and an One World Government and to - if possible - create a godless society. 2. Timothy 3:1-6: "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people"

If we look at the world today, we will see - no matter if you're a believer or not - that this is true. The world is shallow and cruel. This does not mean that there is nothing good in the world at all, but the majority of people have turned into plastic dolls and marionettes, without a will of their own, driven by the media and dumbed down by the elite.

The spirit of the Antichrist dwells everywhere. In Hollywood, therefore the entertainment industry, the media and mostly politics. No matter which party you vote for or which candidate you think you elect, they all belong to secret societies that control the world and push forward the Antichrist agenda of a New World Order.

The Book of Revelation tells us, that the world is going to be as wicked as at the times of Noah. At the times of Noah people did whatever they wanted and forgot God and the fallen angels from heaven took as wives human women and those women gave birth to half-demon / half-human creatures, the Nephilim, who were giants. God needed to cure and clean the world of that mess in order to sustain the clean blood line for the birth of the Messiah. God promised Noah that he would never ever again flood the earth and he kept his promise to this day.

Now history repeats itself. People are wicked and do whatever they want. Homosexuel marriages are legal in most parts of the world, people are being transsexual and have operations turning them from female to male and the other way around. Children rebell against their parents. Drugs and alcohol is everywhere. Sexual immorality has reached a new peak. Islam is spreading and Christians are being killed and executed for their faith. At Area 51 in the United States the Government is breeding half-demon / half-human creatures again. The entertainment industry is trying to portray the love and relationship to hybrid beings as normal with movies and TV shows like Twilight, Vampire Diaries, the Beauty and the Beast, etc. They're trying to tell us that this kind of stuff is normal to love a "monster" or a "beast".

The Bible tells us that it's going to get even worse. There will be wars, mostly between Islam and the rest of the world. People will be executed for no reason. The arrogance and ungodliness is going to increase even more. And we can observe this downfall of the earth every single day.

Jesus told us cleary, that before he returns, the Word of God is going to be preached to all the nations. This does not mean that everyone who hears it is going to give their life to Christ and turn from their wicked ways. But it does mean, that everyone will have access to the Bible. We are currently living in those exact times. Through the internet and through smartphones everyone in this world is able to get and read the Bible. There barely are any people in this world who have never heard the name of Jesus Christ.

In the Book of Revelation we read that in the end times God will send down to us two of his Witnesses. Those two witnesses will have seen the face of the Lord. They are going to have power and will condemn the entire world. Revelation 11:3-5: "And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. And if anyone would harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, this is how he is doomed to be killed"

Those two Witnesses are going to be in our world for 3 1/2 years. They are going to condemn the world for its wickedness as it has become ungodly and they will be hated for this by the entire earth. The people of this earth are going to kill them, but they will not succeed. After those 3 1/2 years (Jesus' ministry also lasted 3 1/2 years) God is going to allow for them to be killed and the entire earth is going to rejoice over their death.

Revelation 11:6-10: "They have the power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire. And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the bottomless pitwill make war on them and conquer them and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days some from the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb, and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth."

The world is going to hate those two witnesses so much that the entire earth will be happy about their death. The reason for why they will not be buried is that the whole world wants to make sure that they have truly been killed. The 3 1/2 days mentioned in the Book of Revelation are in reality 3 1/2 years. That is biblical prophecy code. But what happens after those 3 1/2 years?

Revelation 11:11-13: "But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here!" And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven."

The two Witnesses will be brought back to life by God and will rise up to heaven. Everyone who sees this will then believe that those two Witnesses have spoken the truth and truly were chosen by God.

The moment the world is amidst the greatest chaos, when there will be wars and ungodliness further increases and the two Witnesses condemn the world, the Antichrist is going to appear in its human form. After the death of the two Witnesses, the Antichrist is going to negotiate and sign a peace-treaty with the entire world and the whole world is going to celebrate him for that. The Bible clearly tells us that we should never be deceived by him, no matter how charismatic or charming the Antichrist appears to be. He is going to have power and he will be able to deceive millions and seduce them. People are going to forget God and his Holy Word and are going to worship the Antichrist.

The Antichrist is going to do a lot in the end times. He is going to bring in the "Mark of the Beast" (RFID Chip) that is needed to be able to sell or buy anything. He is going to, as already mentioned, sign a peace-treaty with the entire world, but a false peace so that the whole earth will think he is the awaited Messiah. He is going to have grat power, also in the spiritual sense. He is going to rebuild the third Temple in Jerusalem and is going to sit on a throne in the Temple and force everyone to worship him. He is going to kill every single person that refuses to worship him, mostly Christians. There will be a persecution of the Christians like it's never existed before. But Jesus told us to endure until the end and not be deceived, so that we will have our reward in heaven. The greatest reward is that we are going to live with our Lord and Saviour in the same place.

There are hard times coming and no one knows exactly when all those things will come to pass. But we do have some indications that Jesus gave us so that we have some orientation on what is gonig on. We thank our Lord for this.

Many Christians believe that the Rapture is going to take place before the Antichrist comes onto the scene. But if that were true the words that Jesus gave us wouldn't make any sense at all. Matthew 10:16-22: "Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Beware of men, for they will deliver you over to courts and flog you in their synagogues, and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them and the Gentiles. When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved."

We believe that the Rapture will take place shortly before Jesus returns. Not before the reign of the Antichrist and not in the middle of it. Christians, as well as every other person on this earth is going to have to go through the reign of the Antichrist. The Antichrist will be given 3 1/2 years during which he will accomplish anything he wants to and will be successful with every one of his actions. Apart from that people are literally going to worship him. The first beast that emerges from the sea, that is mentioned in the Book of Revelation, is the false Prophet. There is another beast coming out of the earth, whom the first beast gives all his power to, and that beast is the Antichrist. Just as there will be two Witnesses of God there will also be one false Prophet of Satan and the Antichrist himself (who probably will be possessed by the Devil himself).

Revelation 13:1-13: "And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?" And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. The Book of Revelation as well as the Book of Daniel and Matthew are all focusing on the end times and tell us about events that will happen. We would suggest to you that you study those books if you are truly interested in the Prophetic and the last days. We would be able to fill 10 websites with simply analyzing and discussing every sentence in those books, there is so much material. The Bible gave us - praise God - all details to look for. You simply have to read it.

We do not know whether we or our generation is going to witness Jesus' return (we think that there will be at least another 80 years before Jesus returns). But this isn't really that important. The most important thing is that you never follow the Antichrist, that you always keep God's Word, that you stay close to Jesus and you obey his commandments and never deny the Lord. Everything else are things that we cannot control. We have to go through them and experience them. But do not be discouraged, because the one who lives in you is stronger than the one in the world.
